A New Approach to Pediatric Therapy

Traditional therapy often focuses on isolated goals. Halo focuses on the whole system around the child. We partner with parents and caregivers as active participants in care—sharing insight, strategies, and guidance that help therapy extend beyond the clinic and into real life.

What sets Halo apart:

Halo is more than a clinic—it's a circle of support around every child.

Still have questions

Pediatric Speech Therapy helps children improve communication skills. Speech Therapy can support a wide range of needs depending on your child’s strengths and challenges.

We commonly support children who experience:

  • Delayed speech or language development
  • Difficulty expressing wants, needs, or feelings
  • Limited, unclear, or hard-to-understand speech
  • Trouble understanding directions or questions
  • Echolalia (repeating words or phrases)
  • Challenges with social communication and conversation
  • Difficulty with articulation and speech sounds
  • Limited gestures, eye contact, or joint attention
  • Frustration due to communication challenges
  • Support with AAC devices or alternative communication

Pediatric Physical Therapy helps children who have delays, injuries, or medical conditions that affect movement.

PT at Halo is:

  • Play-based
  • Age-appropriate
  • Family-centered

Physical Therapy at Halo commonly supports:

  • Gross motor skills (rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, running, jumping)
  • Balance and coordination
  • Strength and endurance
  • Posture and alignment
  • Mobility and gait

Your child may benefit from Physical Therapy if you notice:

  • Your child is delayed with big movement milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, running, or jumping
  • They seem to struggle with balance and coordination (falling often or feeling unsteady)
  • They have a harder time building strength and endurance compared to peers
  • You notice challenges with posture or alignment (how they sit, stand, or hold their body)
  • Their mobility or walking pattern (gait) seems unusual or inconsistent

Occupational Therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate in everyday life — like playing, learning, self-care routines, and social interaction.

OT supports skills like:

  • Fine motor development
  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Coordination and body awareness
  • Daily living tasks (feeding, dressing, grooming, handwriting)

Your child may benefit from Occupational Therapy if you notice:

  • Trouble with fine motor skills (writing, cutting, utensils)
  • Sensory sensitivities or sensory-seeking behaviors
  • Difficulty with dressing, feeding, or grooming
  • Big feelings, meltdowns, or difficulty staying regulated
  • Struggles with transitions or routines
  • Low muscle tone, coordination, or body awareness challenges
  • Challenges participating at school or with peers
